Until DA Pass is on the Chrome Web Store, install it like this:
- Download the .zip file above and unzip it (right-click → Extract All). Keep the folder – don't delete it later.
- Open
chrome://extensions (in Edge: edge://extensions).
- Turn on Developer mode (top right in Chrome, left side in Edge).
- Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped da-pass-extension folder.
- Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin DA Pass. Sign in with your email and master password.
What it does
- Fill – on a login page click the DA Pass icon (or press
Ctrl+Shift+L) to fill the username and password. If the login has a 2-step code, it is copied for you.
- Save – after you sign in somewhere new, DA Pass asks if it should save the login.
- Passkeys – when a website offers “Create a passkey”, DA Pass saves it in your vault and uses it next time.
- Locks itself when you close the browser or after the time you choose.
The Free plan works on 1 app device (this extension counts as one). Personal and Family work on all your devices.
